MUSE & ALCHEMY · CAPE TOWN
Fine art commissions in Cape Town
An artwork may begin with a particular wall, a collection, a subject or a feeling you want a space to hold. Muse & Alchemy develops original commissioned work through a distinct visual point of view, with attention to the relationship between the image, its scale and its setting.

Original commissioned work developed through a distinct visual point of view, from intimate pieces to large-scale compositions. Each artwork responds to its context, whether a private collection, residential interior, hospitality or commercial setting.

A commission shaped around the brief
The work shown includes painting, figurative and graphic compositions, drawing and graphite portraiture. These are examples of an established body of work rather than a catalogue of images to reproduce. The direction of a new commission is considered in relation to its own brief.
Starting the conversation
Useful starting points include the intended setting, approximate dimensions, photographs of the space and references that explain what draws you to a particular image. Share a subject or intention if you have one, along with a timeline and budget range. A fully developed concept is not required.
