Functional leatherwork in Cape Town
When a leather piece has a job to do, its design needs to respond to the person using it. Muse & Alchemy develops wearable and functional leatherwork around the requirements of an individual brief, bringing use, fit and construction into the same design conversation.

Developed around a particular wearer, purpose or use, this work balances practical requirements with a distinct visual identity. Each piece takes its direction from the brief and the person who will use it.

A commission shaped around the brief
The selected work includes bags, wearable pieces and specialist carrying systems. Each example reflects a particular combination of practical requirements and visual character, rather than a fixed product range. How a piece is carried, worn or handled helps determine its direction.
Starting the conversation
Tell us who will use the piece, what it needs to carry or do, and where it will be used. References, approximate measurements and details of any equipment or fit requirements are useful. Include your preferred timing and budget range, even if the design is not yet resolved.
